Mohawk seeks a relationship manager and liaison for all North American Logistics finance operations as well as responsibility for oversight of the Flooring Group Logistics Finance, Accounting and Inventory Service teams, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX. You will provide value added insight and be a change agent, proactively seeking opportunities, using financial analytical tools to improve the overall value add contribution of the North American Logistics team. You will be responsible for forecasting and communicating financial results for the business units as well as identifying cost drivers, profit leaks and potential savings opportunities. You will also develop strategies to ensure the integrity of physical inventory accuracy.
As a leader you will mentor and lead an accounting team that performs various functions for the North American Logistics group.
Utilizing your education, skills and experience in the following areas, you should be able to effectively lead the team and organization towards success.
Bachelors degree or higher in Finance or Accounting
Financial management experience in Supply Chain or Logistics in manufacturing or 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) environment
Strong communication who can interact at all levels throughout and across the broad organization
Results oriented and goal driven
Preferably an individual with broad experience (transportation and warehouse or facility management) with multi-site responsibility
Experience as a Comptroller for the Logistics/Transportation area of a similar sized manufacturing and/or distribution organization preferred
