The Supervisor - Hospital Patient Flow provides supervision and leadership for hospital patient flow during daytime hours. This position ensures optimal utilization of resources (including, but not limited to staff, equipment, and supplies) to meet patient care needs and, as a leader, promotes patient satisfaction by demonstrating extraordinary service.

The Supervisor works directly with the administrator on call when appropriate for operational issues that directly impact safety for patients and staff.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications: Current WA State RN license and a Bachelors degree in nursing. Three years increasingly responsible inpatient operations experience. Demonstrated ability to prioritize hospital demands to ensure patient needs are met. Strong leadership skills demonstrated by ability to work with multiple levels of staff and leadership, excellent oral and written communication skills, active listening skills and conflict mediation ability. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and build effective teams also required.

Preferred Qualifications: Background in previous management or supervisory positions is preferred.
