We are now seeking to recruit an experienced VP to take a leading role on key accounts.

A11) Deliver to Clients
* Manage activities on key accounts on a day-to-day basis
* Ensure client programmes are agreed, project plans are in place and updated regularly
* Manage colleagues to ensure timescales and quality assurance are adhered to
* Manage client expectations, anticipate their needs and develop good relations with your client group
* Focus on client retention through exemplary service delivery and a proactive approach
* Anticipate potentially challenging situations and evaluate alternatives with the senior team
* Work alongside the senior team, creatively preparing and delivering the client programme, including pitching to new clients
* Generate supportive media coverage for clients and/or develop insightful medical education programmes for clients
* Develop a good understanding of the broader strategic approach for your clients

2) Build the Business
* Look to expand FTI Consulting portfolio through business with existing clients and the broader FTI group
* Become integral to the new business approach by producing fresh ideas and help to identify lead
* Proactively network with media contact, clinicians and advocacy groups, as well as potential clients

3) Team Involvement
* Share ideas and client information with the team
* Ensure project team members are motivated
* Lead brainstorms and team events
* Share knowledge, insights and experience with colleagues
* Develop good relationships with other teams within FTI Consulting

Experience Required
* Degree qualified or equivalent, preferably in a scientific subject
* Account Management experience either within a healthcare agency or in-house, working on both Med Ed and PR briefs
* Ability to manage complex scientific and medical data and deal directly and authoritatively with leading KOLs
* Experience of working on global/multi-market communications strategies
* Good knowledge of the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry and the regulatory framework for communications
* Excellent contacts with the media and industry experts
* Strong track record of generating media opportunities for clients and/or in changing clinical opinion through medical education activities
* Experience generating new business opportunities
* People management experience
