Specific Responsibilities: * Establish and implement formal project management methodologies and tools to ensure on time, on budget delivery of projects * Lead consulting teams to solve complex issues * Communicate with all levels of client staff and stakeholders * Lead the development of formal client deliverables, addressing complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience * Ensure the quality of client deliverables * Ability to manage multiple projects, clients, and consulting teams Required Skills
* Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification * Bachelor’s or equivalent university degree * Minimum of ten (10) years recent experience and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities in project management * Experience working in or for one or more of the following industries: health and human services; education; labor and workforce; corrections; or general state or local government * Experience managing one or more of the following types of large, complex projects: IT assessments; IT strategic planning and feasibility studies; acquisition support services; quality assurance; and independent verification and validation (IV&V) * Experience in application portfolio management or technical infrastructure management or operations * Demonstrated ability to communicate well in written and oral form within project team environments and with executive management and key stakeholders Required Experience
* Graduate degree in a related field * Experience working on large, complex IT projects for state or local governments within Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana * Relevant hands-on experience managing large, complex IT systems implementation and business transformation projects Strong understanding of software design and development methodologies and processes
