INDUS is seeking a highly motivated and capable Proposal Solution Architect. The Proposal Solution Architect works closely with Business Development and Capture to articulate, in written form, proposed technical solutions in response to Federal Government Information Technology (IT) requirements, as specified in draft or final Requests for Proposal/Quote/Solution (RFX). Resultant products include written original (or tailored reusable INDUS proposal content) text and draft graphics as part of the requirement response package. The total solution package may include but not limited to: IT solution, staffing profiles, transition approaches/plans, quality control and quality assurance approaches and plans.
The focus of the proposal product and written solutions developed by the Proposal Solution Architect will be in the areas of IT infrastructure, Enterprise Service Desk, Information Assurance, System and Database Administration, supporting IT Service Program Management Operations, Enterprise Architecture (EA), Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), Network Engineering, System Engineering, Asset Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Release Management, and other supporting IT Service areas as specified in individual requests. Responsibilities:
* Write effective technical proposals that define solutions and highlight the benefits of such solutions in response to RFXs * Formulate approach to solution scope and objectives relative to a client''s requirements and leads solution design activities during business capture and proposal development phases * Work with Business Development, Capture, and Program Managers to articulate the client''s problems and primary business drivers and develops conceptual, logical, and physical solutions which address those needs * Maintain an in-depth knowledge of a specific current technology, both internally and within the industry, and its applicability to the specific client organization * Ensure that industry and INDUS’ best practices and assets are leveraged within all responses, and that INDUS’ best practices are improved/tailored to effectively meet client requirements Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. * Masters Degree in Computer Science or in an Engineering discipline preferred * Professional certifications must include one or more of the following: ? Project Management Professional (PMP) ? Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Practitioner or Master Level ? Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) ? Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) ? Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
QUALIFICATIONS: * 10+ years of Federal Government IT operations experience, to include performance in roles as a senior technical architect, technical program manager, or similar positions in which the candidate successfully designed, developed, implemented and sustained mission-supporting IT solutions * 7+ years of current experience in providing business consulting and/or technology consulting services and solutions to US Federal Government and DoD clients * Proven track record in developing and articulating next generation, innovative, highly cost effective, highly secure, winning solutions * Demonstrated experience writing winning proposals with clear articulation of the proposed technical solutions. * Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with diverse teams, including business development, capture managers and program executives * Sustained willingness and ability to support multiple active proposal projects, performing primarily a writing role as described in the Position Description * Exceptional organizational and time-management skills * Current and sustained knowledge of key government technology initiatives, mandates, and emerging government and industry standards Apply for this job:
