GP has an immediate need for anISD (Instructional Systems Design) Project Manager.
Job Overview:The project manager is responsible for managing assigned projects that include interfacing with the project director, project team members, and the customer while meeting customer and company expectations.
Qualifications:
* Experience with financial institution training a plus * Experience developing virtual instructor-led training * Experience developing instructor led training * Previous experience in Instructional Design
Responsibilities: * Serves as the single point of accountability for all aspects of the project * Maintains routine communications with the project director concerning all aspects of the project * Identifies and helps determine the resources needed on potential projects: o Supports the development of proposals by providing estimates for support activities
o Plans project team activities with input from the project director
o Develops a detailed schedule for the project
o Prepares a Statement of Work (SOW) for each project and update the SOW as necessary * Directs and controls all activities to meet/control customer expectations and meet budgeted financial objectives tied to the project: o Recommends to the project director any staffing changes appropriate for contract needs
o Coordinates and directs the staff assigned to the project
o As appropriate, interfaces with subcontractors and consultants to ensure that adequate staffing is available to meet customer needs
o Resolves problems using experience, knowledge, and input from the project director
o Reviews and verifies the project log
o Coaches, counsels, and mentors project team members
o Maintains the project notebook, and prepares and delivers project progress reports
o Conducts internal project review meetings and acts as the project information source
o Performs the final GP review of deliverables
o Monitors project deliverables to ensure that quality is maintained
o Serves as the primary client interface for the project schedule, budget, and scope
o Tracks all project costs to budget and project progress to schedule, and prepares cost-to-completion reports
o Ensures that deliverables are on time and on/under budget and meet customer expectations
o Maintains a positive working environment for all aspects of the project
o Coordinates project team meetings (or teleconferences)
o Provides process improvement recommendations to the project director
o Prepares the final project report
o Prepares the project experience statement for marketing
o Strives to identify additional work with the client
o Provides written input to team members' Performance Based Objectives
o Communicates with the project director for staffing transition to the next project assignment
o Performs other duties as required
