Overview: Qualified candidates should be able to develop/adapt real time control software for chassis systems. Core Responsibilities: · Adaptation of models/algorithms to meet system and customer requirements · Development/application of features according to system and SW requirements · Hardware-in-the-loop testing of calibration and algorithm functions Additional Responsibilities: · Support meetings to clarify customer requirements and gain customer approval of performance · Follow formal development and release procedures · Generation of SW development documentation and test reports · Archiving and version control of all data and documents · Responsible for adherence to schedules for engineering milestones Required Capabilities: · C/C++ programming · Real time controls · MATLAB/Simulink Desired Capabilities: · Algorithms/models for electronic automotive suspension systems · Communication and diagnosis in automotive ECUs; CAN, Flexray · Target-Link · AUTOSAR (3.x, 4.x) · MKS/Doors · Vector operation systems (OES) and communication stacks · Vector tools; CANape, CANalyzer Required Qualifications: · BS or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Software Engineering, or Physics · Minimum 2 years of directly relevant experience (automotive chassis systems) · Strong technical & problem solving skills and strong communication & organization skills · High motivation and the ability to be productive with minimal supervision · Fluency in English (written and verbal) Preferred Qualifications: · Masters level degree and/or higher relevant experience level · Experience with air suspension systems · German language skills
