(#2486) Account Manager Location: CA - Northern About Our Client: Our client is a fast-growing startup company that transfers CPU-intensive algorithms, including Compression, Encryption, Hashing, SSL, MACSec, IPSec, and customer-specific algorithms to a PCIe acceleration card or an ASIC. The company is an end-to-end solution supplier, including the hardware, algorithm IP, and integration tools to deliver very fast and very low-risk complete solutions for OEM customers. The company is rapidly expanding as its solutions are being widely adopted in several vertical markets.
About The Position: Common Agenda has been entrusted to conduct a search for an exceptional Account Manager. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Sales, the Sales/ Account Manager is responsible for implementing the company?s sales and marketing strategy, identifying and qualifying leads while consistently closing business in order to meet or exceed their sales quota. As employee development is essential, responsibilities and job function may expand and evolve proportionate to the Company?s needs.
Responsibilities - Identify, prospect, and develop new client companies and partners. - Consistently deliver monthly and quarterly revenue results that meet or exceed objectives. - Develop sales strategies in conjunction with management to maximize sales opportunities. - Ability to negotiate contracts and close sales. - Primary interface between external information, sales and the engineering team. - Work with Operations to define products, inventory and delivery systems that meet customer needs and company goals. - Ability to leverage existing business relationships and increase account penetration.
Requirements - Bachelor?s degree in related field. - Minimum 5-years related work experience in sales capacity roles within a high-tech environment, ideally in embedded OEM product companies. - Excellent communicator capable of building relationships and communicating effectively with every level in the organization through outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills. - Ability to work under pressure to achieve sales targets. - Self-Starter with strong closing capabilities. - Proven track record of success in sales. - Travel required. - Base salary plus commission.
