Functional Description:
This position is responsible for coordinating all requirements for the Business Analyst team within the Systems Group. The Systems Group Business Analyst Manager ensures that the BA Team meets all CA-MMIS contract requirements in the maintenance and modification of the CA-MMIS. It is also the responsibility of the Business Analyst Manager to ensure that all criteria for the CMS certification checklists are, and continue to be, met. The Systems Group Business Analyst Manager coordinates across the functional areas with the Business Analysts in their team to ensure that cross-functional business areas are fully integrated with seamless operations.
Education and Typical Years Experience:
â?¢ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an appropriate field is required
â?¢ Minimum two years experience in leading a team of Business Analysts in the maintenance and modification of an MMIS
â?¢ Minimum two years experience in large-scale software application implementation products
â?¢ Minimum one year experience using requirements and design repository such as ReqPro
â?¢ Minimum one year experience with functional areas of MMIS or other claims processing experience
â?¢ Experience that demonstrates high degree of self-direction, initiative and motivation; sense of urgency to meet established deadlines
â?¢ Must be willing to travel and be located in local CA-MMIS contract offices during critical phases
â?¢ Excellent oral, written, and team communication skills
Special Requirements:
â?¢ Leads the Business Analyst team in identifying and documenting requirements for Operating Instruction Letter (OIL), System Development Notice (SDN), and Problem Statement (PS)
â?¢ Coordinates business level estimates for SDN
â?¢ Schedules work activities of the Business Analyst team based on customer and account priorities
â?¢ Ensures ReqPro and other system documentation are updated and maintained as the system is enhanced and modified
â?¢ Communicates any requested changes to project scope and coordinates needs with Technical Manager, Configuration Manager, and Data Manager
â?¢ Oversees evaluation of gaps in core product and documentation of additional requirements
â?¢ Attends Peer Reviews to improve the quality of all deliverables
â?¢ Provides support to full development lifecycle as required for any particular OIL, SDN, or PS
â?¢ Works with Testing Manager to review test case scenarios and facilitate completeness of test coverage
â?¢ Completes other duties as assigned
