Our employees operate with integrity, and are flexible, reliable and responsive. The Systems Group Trainer plans, organizes, and directs a wide range of learning activities. Trainers conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job learning for new employees. They help rank-and-file workers maintain and improve their job skills, and possibly prepare for jobs requiring greater skill. They help supervisors improve their interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively with employees. They may set up individualized training plans to strengthen an employee's existing skills or teach new ones. The Systems Group Trainer assists the Account CA-MMIS Lead Trainer in determining, planning, implementing, and evaluating the learning requirements in relation to the CA-MMIS and develops standards and methodologies that ensure core competencies across the organization are met. Conducts skills, technical, management and staff development training courses within business units or groups. Uses needs assessment tools to determine effectiveness of training programs. Interacts with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses.
Takeover Phase: â?¢ Assists in compiling learning manuals for the CA-MMIS. Identifies training gaps and learning solutions to improve results and performances â?¢ Evaluates existing training material and makes recommendations for improvements â?¢ Prepares training material and conducts training for all operational activities based on new Contractor operations â?¢ Prepares and conducts training for Provider/State staff based on any change to modified procedures â?¢ Develops training to support CA-MMIS user acceptance testing â?¢ Assists Account CA-MMIS Lead Trainer with scheduling training â?¢ Executes and updates training plans to fully support Takeover activities All Other Phases: â?¢ Conducts learning courses â?¢ Performs interviews and consultation surveys to analyze learning needs â?¢ Assists in completing learning manuals for CA-MMIS â?¢ Identifies training gaps and learning solutions to improve results and performance â?¢ Completes ongoing learning related skills for project management, performance assessment and adult learning â?¢ Assists and encourages staff members in developmental growth through skill level assessments and programs â?¢ Makes recommendations for content and delivery system changes â?¢ Develops learning resources by preparing notes and visual displays in coordination with learning needs and specific departmental needs â?¢ Consults with ACS staff and the DHCS regarding organizational effectiveness and performance needs All other duties as assigned Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
