We are looking for an experienced candidate who can lead our accounting team by providing support for our manufacturing facilities in Versailles, KY. This manager level position will require interactions with all levels of plant management and would typically support a large complex plant or plants with revenue total >$200m.
The Controller acts as a partner to the Plant Manager. They have responsibility for plant performance and success. She/he directs, coordinates, and executes all aspects of financial management, internal controls, planning and analysis. She/he ensures that all financial records accurately reflect the financial position of the plant(s) and provides management with the information necessary to properly evaluate performance. Also responsible for development and review of manufacturing costs, annual budget and other aspects of plant financial management.
Requirements:
We are seeking a motivated, strong team player and leader with perceptual, analytical, verbal and written communication skills. Highly PC literate with advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Office software. Working knowledge of SAP is necessary.
We require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business Administration, 12-15 years financial analysis experience including cost accounting; 3 year prior plant controller experience and 5 plus years management, a Master's degree is a plus. We have a very strong preference for local candidates.
