POSITION OVERVIEW: The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent 3D modeling and architectural design skills as well as show technical knowledge of virtual design and construction techniques. Projects will include presentation quality visualizations, conceptual design sketches and storyboarding, portfolio renderings, and materials for printed and online marketing. The best candidate will have a demonstrated enthusiasm for environmental stewardship and will be able to work under the short deadlines. An employee in this position will have excellent communication skills and should be able to coordinate with technical as well as creative and marketing personnel.
The position will require an extensive knowledge of 3DStudioMAX as well as supporting applications of the Adobe CS-5 Master Collection. Working knowledge of the AutoCAD, and Revit are a plus.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work with visualization team to assist project teams in the realization of their designs in a variety of image formats
- Reviews and work with CAD drawings and design sketches to create high quality 3D architectural visualizations: still renderings and animations
- Work with Marketing and Proposal teams to develop shared resources and perform a variety of assignments such as developing technical illustrations for proposals, presentations, reports
Qualifications: Qualifications /Minimum Experience: - Bachelor Degree in Architecture or 3D Arts or Computer Animation
- 3 Years of experience in a professional setting
- Demonstrate proficiency in 3DS Max and Adobe Photoshop required
- Experience in Virtual Design
- Working knowledge of the Building Information Modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD) preferred
- Experience with Adobe Premiere /After Effects or Illustrator preferred
- Experience with traditional illustration, rendering, and storyboarding is a plus
• Strong communication skills, team oriented, self-driven work ethic and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Preferred experience in the architectural, engineering, or construction industry
