4009 Financial Analyst Location: Fairfield, CA Length: 6 Months If interested, please send resumes to Description: Compiles and analyzes financial information for a business unit. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts. Performs varied work assignments with limited supervision. Conducts and documents moderately complex financial analysis projects. Brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management. Provides accurate Program Cost information monthly to Finance and Value Stream Management on a timely basis.
Primary Responsibilities: - Responsible for analyzing and communicating monthly value stream results through a monthly program review and supporting the value streams with pricing and cost analysis. ?- Responsible for assisting with the completion of Value Stream Annual Budgets and Quarterly Forecasts. Work closely with value stream leadership to develop sales plans, prime cost inputs and cost center expenses. ?- Assist with completion of monthly expected sales forecasts with Value Stream leadership. ?- Responsible for conducting meetings to drive total inventory turn improvements. ?- Responsible for completing month end journal entries along with associated reconciliations and reports. ?- Responsible for all day to day financial coordination between the Value Stream and Finance leadership to facilitate continuous cost improvement. ?- Develop and maintain analytical tools to support financial analysis. - Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications : - Program Cost or related experience in a manufacturing environment; - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related major. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; - Sarbanes-Oxley experience and understanding preferred; ?
