Job Title: Account Director and Facilities Manager
Job Description: The position of ABM Facility Services - Account Director is to manage every aspect of the ABM service and delivery team at a major international high-technology company based in Austin, TX. In general, the Account Director monitors overall account performance, marshals resources, consolidates operational and financial reports, prepares annual budget projections, monitors performance metrics, resolves governance matters, coordinates team meetings, negotiates major service agreements, develops team member goals and objectives, and cultivates team performance.

The specific qualifications that are required for this position include:
Over 10 years as an experienced Facility Manager with an extensive background managing all aspects of facility operations. We seek a proven leader with a solid track record in developing new and existing technology, that is results oriented and a proven problem solver in a high demand and fast paced environments. The principle strengths and areas of expertise related to the ideal candidate for this position include: * Facilities, utilities, and service delivery management * Customer, partner, and vendor relationship management * Small projects management * Critical systems equipment operations and maintenance * Equipment and facility commissioning and validation * Cost reduction program development and management * Contract / subcontract development and negotiations * Technology development and enhancement, product and process implementation * Security, safety (OSHA), and environmental engineering * Management and organizational development of professional and technical personnel * Purchasing administration, operating and capital budget development and management * Continuous quality and process improvement program management This position will manage large campus environments the include directing the maintenance for a major high-technology company consisting of office, data center, and R&D spaces in 3 major and 4 minor locations in the US and Canada. Other responsibilities include: * Directs facility operations and engineering staff at multiple sites * Manages janitorial services, landscaping services, waste management, pest control, and a variety of other facility related services * Tracks performance to key performance indicators, and underlying service level agreements, implementing performance improvement plans as needed * Evaluates, selects and manages all subcontractors delivering in-scope services * Hires and directs engineering, equipment mechanics, and facilities staff (both professional and technical employees) * Writing department level operating procedures * Directs day to day maintenance and facility operations all Austin sites. * Supports subordinate management and supervisory personnel at remote sites * Supports the implementation of Archibus within the maintenance organization for work orders and preventive / predictive maintenance management * Interfaces with local, state, and federal agencies as needed Educational Background
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business, or other area of expertise combined with relevant work experience, Required. · Master of Science, Engineering or Business, Preferred.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills · Strong PC skills – Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Lotus Notes · Position is located in Austin, TX, and will be required to travel as needed in support of service delivery at remote locations. Estimated travel: less than 15% May be required to meet certain certifications in field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on high rise roof-tops. Must have current state issued drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
