A VP or Director plays a critical role in determining the future and long-term success of Weber Shandwick and the consumer health practice. They are responsible for managing senior level client relationships and have regular exposure to client senior management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Keep client programs on schedule and ensure all deadlines are met * Develop and maintain extremely strong interpersonal relationships with senior clients * Serve as a primary contact for the client * Address any issues, trouble shoot problems and provide strategic counsel * Organize new business research and information gathering * Assess new business leads * Develop new business initiatives * Participate in new business pitch development and/or presentations * Responsible for developing media relations strategy and delivering results * Supervise all writing and editing * Edit work and provide direction to ensure quality control * Provide leadership, direction and guidance to account teams * Work with peers to further the mission, goals and culture of the agency * Attend account reviews and staff meetings - provide ongoing communications and feedback * Ensure that account team members adhere to agency time reporting and financial guidelines
