In the Bay Area, our rapidly growing client roster contains many of the world's leading technology and healthcare brands. Our Sunnyvale office is currently seeking an Account Director/Vice President to help lead technology accounts. Ideal candidates are creative, well-rounded strategic thinkers who are passionate about storytelling. Strength in account management, media relations, writing, team management and overall development and execution of PR programs is a prerequisite. Executive communications expertise is also desired. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow and manage a team and take on a significant leadership role for the office.
Responsibilities include:
* Serve as strategic counsel to clients and provide consistent results for clients * Manage day-to-day client activities including team management * Demonstrate a thorough understanding of a client's business and industry * Develop long-term plans and program recommendations for clients * Cultivate new business opportunities * Responsible for client relations, review meetings, and client budget approval
Qualifications:
* BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field * Minimum of 7 years technology public relations experience required; agency experience preferred * Experience managing major technology public relations accounts, preferably in the networking, enterprise and/or data center space. * Strong leadership, supervisory and management skills, as well as the ability to motivate teams * Superior media skills required, as well as strong client management experience
