Account Manager
Sales / Account Executive needed for busy growing company in the Agriculture Industry. Receives requests by telephone, fax or mail for price quotations/verifications, purchase orders, and changes or cancellations directly from customers. Responds immediately to customer inquiries/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers; answers questions regarding product line, prices, delivery times, customer service and credit / financing arrangements. Prospects potential customers identified through Trade Shows, industry lists and industry organizations. Develops prospecting tools such as telephone scripts emails and letters. Utilizes contact database software to track communications with customers, both current and potential. Sends product literature, price catalogs, references and other data to customer as required. Prepares contracts, order configurations and price quotations and routes to customer; writes letters to provide information to customer inquiries as needed. Works with Credit Department to establish new accounts; assist with customer in preparing and processing credit/financing arrangements paperwork. Submit sales activity and forecasts reports to General Manager; provides briefings to General Manager as necessary or as requested. Performs any other duties as assigned.
