This is a great opportunity to join our fast-growing, proactive Financial Accounting Advisory Services team. This role is based in Dublin, but you will be part of a 60-person team across Ireland and the UK whose aim is to help companies address the commercial and financial reporting challenges they face in their business.
This is a high profile position working with some of Ireland's largest companies in a role that involves assurance, transactions and advisory and will include developing profitable long term relationships with senior client personnel. There are also growing opportunities to work on short term projects overseas, supporting global Ernst & Young teams, as IFRS becomes more prevalent worldwide.

Senior Manager, Director & Partners
Accountabilities * Providing practical advice to clients on a variety of issues, including: * First-time adoption of IFRS and ongoing advice on new and revised standards under IFRS and Irish GAAP; * Structured finance transactions, group reorganisations and asset financing; and * Improvements to accounting processes and controls * Identifying new business opportunities and working with internal contacts to convert leads and opportunities into projects * Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior finance personnel * Managing and coaching team members * Promoting FAAS both internally and externally, articulating all FAAS services and the value that we bring to our clients Personal Qualities
* Experience of relationship management, negotiating with and influencing senior individuals, both internally and externally * Committed to relationship development and able to identify opportunities to deliver the best value * A genuine interest in IFRS and financial reporting issues * Good communicator, highly articulate with excellent report writing skills * A passion for client service * Ability to learn quickly and keep abreast of the latest developments in financial reporting * Strong project management skills
Experience and qualifications * Recognised accounting qualification or equivalent * Ideally:
* Practical experience in dealing with accounting issues in a plc or equivalent organisation, either in Practice or Industry * An audit or financial advisory background * Strong knowledge of IFRS, Irish/UK GAAP and Irish company law
