Description
Provides acquisition and contracting services for major Information Technology (IT) acquisitions conducted by the GSA. Values of major GSA IT acquisitions typically range from tens to hundreds of million dollars. Acquisitions include hardware, software, networks, training and support. Employee works directly with the GSA Contracting Officer client and performs market research, prepares Acquisition Plans, solicitation documents, contract award documents, and contract management strategies. Performs proposal evaluations including complex cost evaluations, advises on negotiation strategy, and prepares pre and post negotiation memorandums. Performs policy and procedures research as may be required to solve problems as occurring.
Required Qualifications
Typically requires bachelor's degree (in business or technical field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related (government acquisition) experience. Level III Acquisition Professional Development Certification desired.
