DESCRIPTION
DCF OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL - INVESTIGATIONS UNIT
Supports the Chief of Investigations and Intake Unit Supervisor in all administrative functions including: draft and prepare correspondence and memoranda and maintaining files on same; preparation of travel arrangements and preparation of travel reimbursement; maintaining the calendar and scheduling meetings.
Retrieve daily internet complaints; enter incoming complaints into the Investigations and Complaint Management System. Complete and distribute case closures for all completed investigations within a timely and accurate manner. Reviews case related information entered into the Investigations and Complaint Management System to ensure that it is accurate and complete.
Acts as liaison and process all Corrective Action Plans (Data Entry and Closures).
Completes or assists in the completion of special projects such as the annual report, quarterly reports, management reports, or impromptu requests by the Inspector General.
BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT: It is the policy of the Florida Department of Children and Families that any applicant being considered for employment must successfully complete a State and National criminal history check as a condition of employment before beginning employment, and also be screened in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, F.S., and, if applicable, Chapter 408, F.S.
