Position Summary:

ParenteBeard, LLC a dynamic regional independent
accounting and consulting firm headquartered in Philadelphia with
offices across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland and
Delaware, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide
administrative support to our Lancaster Office.
Under the immediate
supervision of the Office Coordinator, the Administrative Assistant
performs a variety of administrative functions, has a demonstrated
ability to communicate clearly, courteously and with the utmost
professionalism, must exercise accuracy, alertness, tact and
patience. The Administrative Assistant must demonstrate
the ability to manage multiple priorities with various deadlines in a
professional and time sensitive manner. The candidate will also
possess considerable initiative, discretion and a sense of
urgency.
The Administrative Assistant consistently prepares
correspondence, presentations, reports for Partners and other team
members and will process tax returns with minimal supervision.
Additionally, this individual scans into PDF format letters and
reports and files them into Engagement binders. This individual
will also copy and bind financial statements and other deliverables.

The Administrative Assistant accurately maintains
word processing production for a variety of team members and must be
able to apply the latest software technology and keep current with
upgrades to ensure job related productivity. The
candidate must be able to recognize the nature of material and keep
in full confidence all work entrusted to them.

The
Administrative Assistant will be required to answer phones on a
multi-phone telephone system, distribute mail, manage the file room
and provide coverage in the reception area. The Administrative
Assistant will perform other office support functions as requested or
assigned. This listing of tasks and responsibilities in not all

required.

Requirements

The ideal
candidate has at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and 2-4
years of experience in performing administrative assistant duties or
an equivalent combination of training and experience. The candidate shall be
proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint,
and be familiar with other standard office equipment and must be a
skilled typist. Individuals in this position must have demonstrated superior
ability to carry out written and oral
instructions.

The incumbent
must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
and the capacity to appropriately interact with all levels of the
Firm management. Must be
able to handle multiple projects and adapt to an ever changing
environment. Dependability and professionalism are a must. A valid driver’s
license is required.
