Administrative Director, Pediatric Behavioral Health Program Job Description
This position is accountable for the strategic direction, facilitation, and leadership of Primary Children's Behavioral Health programs. This includes administrative and financial oversight; marketing and day-to-day operations of consult liaison services, emergency behavioral health care, inpatient behavioral health, adolescent and latency age residential treatment programs, and outpatient clinics.
Job Essentials:
Works closely with the Behavioral Health Program Medical Director and Administrators to ensure that the behavioral health care services provided are of the highest quality.
Develops capital and operating budgets for each business unit in collaboration with program directors.
Meets financial goals for each business unit.
Provides program leadership and is responsible for the direction and integration of a multi-skilled work force. Develops and mentors direct reports.
Develops competitive, cost-effective services that are aligned with the community's health care needs and organizational objectives.
Maintains positive relationships with and promotes communications between business units/programs and across Intermountain Healthcare.
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the business units and programs.
Assists in the integration of the Intermountain Behavioral Health Network.
Responsible for strategic planning and operational assignments for the Pediatric Behavioral Health Program.
Facilitates customer satisfaction by establishing measurements, monitoring outcomes, and creating action plans for continual quality improvement.
Ensures that all business units and programs meet Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
Supports and facilitates academic and research endeavors across the behavioral health continuum.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree required. (Clinical or Business)
Three or more years of experience at director level with direct accountability for a large functional area.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide dynamic leadership.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
Demonstrated financial management skills.
