Our client was founded nearly nineteen years ago, and provides Management, Information Technology Support, Security and Intelligence Operations Support Services to a range of Federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and private companies. They are a small, woman-owned business, with several federal government contracting vehicles including MOBIS and schedule 084 for security.
They are currently seeking anAdministrative Operations Support Specialistin Hyattsville, Maryland.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Perform various administrative duties including: correspondence control, word processing, conference, meeting and travel arrangements and report preparation. • Assist in the preparation of management plans and various management reports. Facilitate the completion of tasks, briefings and presentations, utilizes office software such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel. • Provide administrative support for the detachment • Rreview incoming/outgoing correspondence • Process timecards and leave forms for employees • Maintain government vehicle • Order supplies • Establish and maintain personnel and training files • Process country clearances • Coordinate transfer of security clearances for country visits • Maintain office/supervisor calendar • Process TDY orders • Establish standard operating procedures • Establish organizational requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 3-5 years relevant experience with the requisite clearance and an up-to-date investigation.
Demonstrated experience and ability to perform general admin. He/she needs to be independent, able to receive a task and run with it and must be able/willing to brief dept. chief on anything-important going on. The right candidate must be a team player who can handle working on his or her own. The person should be proficient in the following: • Data entry and management • Briefings • Maintaining and managing calendars • Strong communication skills • Familiarity with the government contractor environment • Ability to multi-task and learn quickly, and highly adaptive. • Willingness to take on more tasks and new tasks as they come up • Gets along with and able to work with a variety of personality types
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
• Experience with military personnel administration (i.e. military evaluations), and customer service interaction.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
• High school diploma a must • Bachelor’s Degree with prior military experience preferred
REQUIRED CLEARANCE
• TS/SCI with current SSBI required • CI Poly preferred
