Job Description
The position will report to the Integrated Systems Solutions (ISS) Product Line Manager and provide senior administrative support to both the ISS Product Line Manager and the Information Analysis Systems (IAS) Product Line Manager.
The position will be the focal point for facilitation of communications across both Product Lines (PL). Will work in coordination with the PL Administrator for the two other NSD PLs to ensure cohesiveness in all four PL processes and procedures. These duties include but are not limited to formal Product Line (PL) correspondence, report generation, scheduling/logistics for project reviews, note taking, action item tracking, travel/expense reporting (PLMs only), project financial tracking, and classified matter production/handling/storage/dissemination.
Product Line communications normally occur through verbal, electronic, and written communications. The incumbent will work independently to set and coordinate work flow and priorities, delegating as appropriate, and receiving assistance/guidance from the Product Line Project Specialists as required.
The incumbent will interact with staff at all levels in the following organizations: National Security Directorate, Facilities and Operations, PNNL R&D Organizations, Contracts, Finance and Budget, Legal, Travel Management Partners, Security, Travel Accounting, Procurement, and Information Systems & Services. Contacts outside PNNL include DOE-HQ, DOE Richland Site Office, Pacific Northwest Site Office, Clients, staff from other National Laboratories, other government and nongovernment clients, Hanford Contractors, Battelle Columbus staff, and local community business representatives.
IAS and ISS Product Lines comprise over 350 active projects and span a wide range of technologies, disciplines and clients. Ability to multi-task, innovate, and cope with a fast pace environment is paramount to success.
