Job Description Provide recommendations for developing and modifying a comprehensive Acquisition Logistics Support (ALS) Plan, User's Logistics Support Summary (ULSS)/Operational Logistics Support Summary (OLSP). Assist in the development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) Management plans and development of Total Ownership Cost (TOC) plans. Review and develop Critical Path Method (CPM) network as a planning, scheduling and controlling tool for determining progress against Program baseline. Assist in the development of Post Production Support Plan. Asses program planning documents, analyze discrete activities within each logistic and hardware element to determine interrelationships and dependencies. Utilize the Logistics Management Decision Support System (LMDSS) to document reliability problems and develop alternative solutions. Perform Level of Repair analysis (LORA). Perform actions required to maintain currency and accuracy of Engine Composition Tracking Databases for designated engines.
Education: Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years experience or equivalent professional work experience; 6 years of out of the last 10 years work experience must be in applying analysis techniques and evaluation procedures, or 6 years of additional logistics analysis experience.
Experience: Experience with Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA), Next Generation Jammer (NGJ), Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) and ALQ-99 is required; must include independently evaluating support system effectiveness, reliability and maintainability, and logistics support for DOD weapon systems/equipment, and a minimum of two years experience in at least two of the following: - Logistics Support Analysis - Reliability and Maintainability Analysis - Operational Availability Analysis - Life Cycle Costing - Configuration Management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent reading, writing, and interpersonal skills are required. Candidate must have a working knowledge and experience of aviation maintenance with exposure aircraft systems, trend analysis or reliability analysis. Must have the ability to work with military and civilian personnel at all levels. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office suite of software tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
