Job Description Candidate will support the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) E-2C/D Trainers Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM) in elements of trainer integrated logistic support for training devices. The successful candidate will prepare logistics sections of appropriate trainer acquisition documents such as the Statement of Work (SOW), Specifications, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) including logistic strategy, milestones, costs and schedules. The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of logistic risks, both technical and supportability, life-cycle support, Reliability and Maintainability (R&M), supportability, test and evaluation and logistics principles in developing logistics strategies for E-2 trainer procurement documentation. The successful candidate will apply the aforementioned skill sets along with Configuration Management (CM), Verification & Validation and review of project technical data and documentation for E-2 trainer systems during project execution.
Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience: A total of at least 10 years of professional experience as a manufacturing technician or logistician that consisted of performing some of the foregoing functions. At least 5 years recent experience shall have consisted of performing the same foregoing functions with respect to NAWCTSD trainer programs. Experience in E-2 trainer programs shall be required. The successful candidate must have experience in trainer life-cycle functions that included performance of Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The successful candidate will be expected to perform the E-2 logistics functions immediately when hired. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is required. Ability to read manufacturing/engineering drawings is required. Strict attention to detail, strong follow up and ability to multi-task is required. Excellent interpersonal and customer skills required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
