Job Description This position supports tasking for Program Manager Enterprise Soldier Aviation (PM ESA), Logistics Information Technology (LOG-IT)/Defense Communications & Army Transmission Services (DCATS) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Branch at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. Tasking for this position spans across a wide range of Command, Control, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) ILS tasks. Successful candidate will perform ILS tasks to include provisioning and supply support, cataloging, technical analysis, engineering and budget tracking.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Provide logistics engineering analysis to support both LOG-IT and DCATS family of systems; Support the development and review of various documents to include Basis of Issues Plan Feeder Data (BOIPFD) Materiel Release Packages, supportability strategies, configuration management, software suitability statements, Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA); Participate in and prepare data for meetings and conferences; Gather failure data on warranty and out of warranty repairs and provide analysis to Team Leaders on failure trends, with the objective to improve reliability/availability and maintainability of these systems; Perform logistics functions and activities; and Provide assistance to LOG-IT and DCATS Program Management Offices to ensure compliance and implementation with policies.
Education/Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience with a Masters Degree or a Bachelors Degree and 12 years of experience is required. A DAWIA Level III Certification in Logistics is strongly desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Candidate should be well organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy, and have the ability to meet project quality expectations and schedule commitments with limited direction and supervision. Excellent reading, writing, and interpersonal skills are required. Candidate must have a working knowledge and experience of ESA logistics policies and processes. Selected candidate must have the ability to work with military and civilian personnel at all levels. Candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Office suite of software tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
