Position Purpose:

The Analyst role supports key areas within Alliances, centered on alignment of processes associate with strategy, program operations and sales support requirements. This position will understand as-is and to-be business process flows and requirements, and will work closely within the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) and Technology Alliances areas of business. As the Alliances organization matures, additional responsibilities and focus areas will emerge.

Key Responsibilities

- Alliances - (20%):
- Execute assigned tasks within a structured environment related to Microsoft and Avanade Platform Alliance projects

- Microsoft Partner Network - (40%):
- Monitor and ensure secure global access to Dynamics VOICE/Partner Source
- Assist in driving visibility in to Microsoft certifications via MCPID review of submissions and transcript sharing status
- Maintain valid MPN associations to control administrative access to MPN tool
- Interface with customers to manage expectations in resolving MPN issues
- Assist in documentation of current and desired MPN operational processes

- Technology Alliances
- Sales operations team support as identified by Sr. Manager of Technology Alliances
- Microsoft incentive/resell programs support
- Alliance formation teaming support
- Technology Alliance SharePoint site support and maintenance

Qualifications

Skills/ Knowledge/ Experience Required:

Years of Experience

- 2-3 years of Microsoft-related partner and/or sales experience

Other Skills/Knowledge Professional Skills:

- Excellent interpersonal skills -'Customer Focus'
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong cross-group collaboration capabilities
- Passion for learning
- Efficient time management

Functional Skills:

- Familiar with Microsoft Partner Network, programs and tools
- Requirements gathering methods and tools
- Process analysis and documentation

Microsoft Products:

Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Visio a plus)
