Summary
Provides logistics support services to the Office of Customs & Border Protection (CBP) as a member of the CTSC Prime Integration Contract (PIC) Logistics Group. The primary function of the PIC is to repair and maintain all CBP high technology inspection equipment located at CBP ports of entry in the U.S. and at select locations abroad. Primary Log II duties are in the maintenance support and planning element of integrated logistics support (ILS) but will also include, but not be limited to, technical documentation and data, design interface, supply support, PHS&T, support and test equipment, facilities and environment, manpower and personnel and computer resources. Primarily assists in providing complex equipment performance assessment and PIC and subcontractor maintenance services assessment utilizing reliability, maintainability and availability (RM&A) analyses and several other ILS management and analytical tools. Contributes research and input to ILS documents and should be familiar with or quickly become familiar with standard ILS elements and concepts. Will work under direction of more senior logistics personnel. U.S. citizenship required.

iliarize oneself with CBP high technology inspection equipment. form JCN failure coding (Problem, Failure, Cause, Action Taken) in the maintenance historical database (Maximo) and monitor the Outage Report and vendor JCN status emails. nload a variety of technical data and update maintenance support databases. ntain accurate lists of PIC supported equipments and their locations. ist in the analysis behind and development of large NII transition reports. ist in the conduct of performance assessments of CBP high technology inspection equipment by analyzing historical maintenance data through RM&A metrics, failure mode identifiers, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, etc.; identify areas of concern, trends, strengths, etc. ist in the conduct of performance assessments of PIC and subcontractor equipment maintenance services and maintenance management efforts by analyzing historical maintenance data. ument assessment findings in draft analytical documents and reports including trend analyses, technical summaries, and statistical summaries; be alert to capture lessons learned and submit to supervisor. tribute (as required) to development of and review of internally and externally generated technical documents, manuals, analyses, plans (e.g. ILSP), work instructions, etc.; provide analytical insight and comments. sibly support the CBP new equipment installation acceptance testing efforts through participation in Site Acceptance Tests. ticipate in various CBP meetings as required to provide logistics support analysis and insight as required. er duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience . Associate's degree or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of experience in the logistics arena or in a similar field required. .Data mining/analysis and programming experience are a plus. .Familiarity and experience in integrated logistics, especially in maintenance support, is a plus.
Computer Skills Microsoft Office Suite user (intermediate level minimum); journeyman level in Excel (charts, pivot tables) preferred; technical report writing and MS Word skills, MS Access a plus. MAXIMO or other maintenance management application experience a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain the requirements of a CBP BI.
