DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work extensively with management team and take a lead role in providing financial support for various projects which dramatically impact company growth and profitability initiatives, develops sound knowledge of the products and markets served and leverages this knowledge to develop key operating metrics for company management. Advanced financial modeling skills are required, employed in developing complex models.

Achieves financial objectives for assigned departments by preparing and analyzing performance reports including cost of sales, margin, expenses and capital, initiating corrective action, completing monthly forecasts by assembling and analyzing input from assigned departments.

Ability to interact with and influence senior management in the short and long term planning processes based upon technical expertise and business acumen. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively to maintain high level of support to business customers.

Ability to lead cross functional teams in achieving results. Teams will vary based upon assigned function but may be involved in worldwide budgeting & forecasting, capacity planning, product pricing, business case development, customer account team support, etc.

Maintains technical and professional knowledge by attending training classes; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Experience:
Education, Experience, and Knowledge

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business with 5+ years experience within finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience should be within a manufacturing environment and included financial analysis, reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience using computers and spreadsheet software required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or MBA an asset. Also experience with cross functional support valued.
