Medifast is currently seeking a talented, assertive and experienced District Manager (DM) for the _____ territory. The DM will be responsible for multiple control centers with a focus on maximum sales and profitability. Successful candidates will meet all the requirements of the position as well as possess high energy and the desire to drive results in multiple control center locations simultaneously by setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.
Job Duties
• Ensure our company standards are uniformly met and adhered to throughout the district.
• Develop short and long range goals to achieve maximum results.
• Assist in the recruitment process for a variety of control center staffing needs for their district.
• Work with the training team from day one of employment of all staff in their district, as well as provide ongoing development as needed.
• Maintain and enhance merchandise presentation effectively throughout the district.
• Review operational reports and records to ensure adherence to Company policies, procedures, profit & loss and payroll budgets.
• Maintain open communication and develop relationships with operations, human resources, facilities, accounting and management.
• Work with new store set up team for new center openings, renovations and closings.
Experience and Education Requirements
• Minimum of three (3) years experience as a District Manager for retail, restaurant or weight loss/management industries.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience retail commission sales.
• Either Associates Degree plus five (5) years total experience or Bachelors Degree plus three (3) years total experience required.
Skills Requirements
• Energetic, approachable and flexible personality.
• Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work in a face-paced team oriented retail environment.
• Knowledge of store by store P&L.
• Ability to present financial information to staff and management as necessary.
• Proven track record of success in sales and driving sales as a manager.
• Ability to travel throughout District as necessary.
• Posses a drivers license and vehicle.
• Maintain a good driving record.
• Available to work some nights and weekends.
• Basic understanding of the science of weight loss and healthy lifestyles.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs and Operating Systems.
