Assistant Account Executive - Home Delivery Operations
Job Description:
We a leading national furniture and appliance delivery company. We provide a range of home delivery and logistics services for world class retailers such as Sears, Ashley, Macy’s, Bloomingdales, and others. Our fast-growing team is made up of sharp, energetic team members with a “can do" attitude and strong work ethic.
We currently have immediate need for a “take charge" team member to help manage one of our operations in Baltimore. This leader will help oversee our network of independent home delivery contractors, interact with our client, and make sure that each and every delivery customer has an outstanding delivery experience. Computer skills, people skills, a professional appearance, and a passion for excellence are all required. We provide one-on-one training and mentoring in the delivery logistics business. The best candidates will have at least 3 years experience in home delivery, transportation, or logistics.
Candidates with experience working at a furniture delivery operation and with connections within the local home delivery owner operator community are definitely preferred.

Job Requirements:
Interface with clients, customer service personnel, warehouse staff, and home delivery owner operators. Interact with delivery customers; handle customer complaints and scheduling problems. Must be people oriented and able to adapt to multiple communication scenarios at all levels. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have experience using computer truck routing system. Weekend and evening work required. Connections in the local Independent Home Delivery Contractor community is a definite plus.
