Assistant Technical Designer
Assist the Sr. Technical Designer and Technical Designer to maintain consistency of fit and quality through technical written spec packages in PDM. Serve as Wear trial administrator and evaluate TOP samples. Work closely with Senior Technical Designer and Technical Designer to continually broaden technical knowledge and to elevate the quality of the product. Assist in meeting departmental goals.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage the TOP approval process and communicate information to vendors and from the Technical Designers and cross functional teams informed - Administer the wear trial process, including evaluating wear trial results, tracking product being trialed and maintaining records of wear trial participants - Assist the Technical Designers in maintaining the T&A - Assist the Technical Designers with sample preparation, organizational, clerical, filing and data entry functions. - Assist in the preparation of daily fittings (pulls files, past sample history, measures samples) - Load measurements, pictures, sketches and additional relevant information into the technical spec packages - Assist the Technical Designer with daily vendor communication via fax and e-mail - Assist the Technical Designer with any special projects
