Assoc Claims & Risk Specialist
Utilizes knowledge of medical terminology and legal principles to guide and control the investigation, evaluation and disposition of self-insured Medical Reimbursement and Disability claims within incumbent's financial authority. Incumbent is accountable for oversight of TPA, and will provide specific direction and authority to TPA as needed. Incumbent is will provide expertise, guidance and consulting services to internal departments, sales force members and departmental management to effectively manage costs arising from large, self-insured auto physical damage program, utilizing knowledge of insurance and contract principles, as well as automotive repair.
