Job Description Baxter's BioScience division is a leading producer of both plasma-based and recombinant clotting factors for hemophilia, as well as biopharmaceuticals used to treat immune deficiencies, alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency and other blood-related disorders. Baxter also produces vaccines for the prevention of infectious diseases, as well as biosurgery products used for hemostasis and tissue-sealing in surgery. Baxter BioScience's breadth and depth of expertise in recombinant protein manufacturing, plasma fractionation and proprietary Vero-cell vaccine manufacturing technologies set it apart from other companies in these fields.
Baxter BioSurgery's product portfolio currently consists of hemostatic agents, tissue-sealants and orthobiologics. Our key customers are Cardiovascular, Orthopedic, Neuro, Spine, GYN, Urology and General Surgeons and well as other purchasing decision makers in the hospital environment. The role of the Marketing Manager, Portfolio Manager is responsible for:
•Execute business and channel contracting strategies for BioSurgery business. •Effective cross functional communication of portfolio and contracting tactics. • Coordinate marketing activities for Porfolio of products. •Establish project plan budget/resources for Portfolio products. •Conduct market research and assist in development of short- and long-term plans and marketing strategies. •Draft informational and promotional materials for internal and external customers. •Prepare and deliver presentations on Portfolio. •Coordinate BioSurgery US Web sites, and E-business programs •Coordinate with all Brand Leaders on Portfolio Initiatives •Support Portfolio initiatives for Tradeshows, Society Mtgs, etc. •Partner with Marketing/Brand Leaders to develop relevant collateral and tools •Coordinate Marketing Portfolio activities with sales, contracting, and analytics in activities such as contract requests, market research in planning, and executing on special projects
Job Requirements
•Bachelor's degree required
•1 - 2 years experience.
