The Comp and Benefits Associate Analyst is responsible for general benefits administration.
Key Accountabilities:
Administers the Short-Term Disability and FMLA process. Coordinates paperwork and correspondence with employees, managers, legal, HR, payroll, and the Disability Management Insurance Company. Ensures policy and procedure adherence.
General Benefits administration of all Company benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, reimbursement accounts, educational assistance, long-term care, and life and disability plans. Interacts with third party vendors, including medical, dental, and vision carriers, COBRA/FSA administrator, and Child Care Center.
Assists in the management of the electronic enrollment process and open enrollment initiatives.
Conduct employee benefits orientation.
Reconciliation and payment of insurance premiums and department bills for multiple vendors. Conducts audits and provides reporting.
Primary contact for employees with benefits questions, policy interpretation, and problem resolution.
Back-up for the administration of the 401k plan.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Must have excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft's Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; prior experience with SAP a plus
Ability to work independently and professional while handling confidential information
Effectively manage multiple tasks, projects, changing priorities, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
1-2 years of general benefits experience, including disability administration
Bachelor's degree preferred
Prefer: Two years direct experience in a similar role
