Description
Leads and implements the development and/or implementation of legislative tactics and strategies on federal and/or state issues which affect the company. Researches Federal/State Election Laws and PAC Guidelines. Provides community relations at the local level to promote positive customer image for AT&T and its affiliates. Coordinates and/or funds Political Action Committees (PACs) and carries out political education. Interacts with Business Groups and Consumer Groups to provide information and garner support. Researches statutes, prepares analysis on legislation. Organizes and develops materials for informational meetings. Monitors and analyzes proposed legislation for impact on the organization. May provide support in a general scope, within a business unit or area of specialization. Typically reports to third level management. Supervisory: May supervise a staff OR be an individual contributor providing training or mentoring to less experienced staff, and may provide feedback for the evaluation of new staff.
