CO-OP Financial Services, the nation’s largest credit union owned EFT network and processor, is looking for aMarketing Coordinatorat our Corporate Headquarters in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for project coordination efforts for acquisition, retention and consumer campaigns, including competitive and marketing context research, and multi-component/channel project development and execution for sales-focused B2B marketing campaigns. The Marketing Coordinator also assists in developing marketing tools that raise awareness, generate sales leads and nurture the sales process at the credit union and member level.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Traffic projects from inception through completion including creative development, scheduling, budget tracking, estimating, production (may involve print, interactive, or other channels) and final execution, all while meeting deadlines and having strong project communication. Interact with vendors as needed. · Manage programs for planning, implementation, lead handoff and reporting results of sales and lead generation campaigns. · Write copy for email blasts, presentations, speeches, articles, sales letters, and relationship building programs. · Support the Consumer Marketing Program by assisting in the ongoing development of credit union consumer materials and promotions—creating a strong relationship with credit unions and to assure member-level product adoption. · Support relationship building programs associated with fundraisers, promotional events and special events. · Support marketing data efforts by leading administration and logistics including maintaining accurate marketing database records, developing and running reports for both acquisition/cross-sell lead generation programs as well as relationship building/philanthropy programs. · Assist in corporate event and meeting coordination including but not limited to; conferences, User Meetings, CEO Roundtable and tradeshows. This may include logistics, contract administration, preparation of promotional materials and evaluations. · Research industry trends, products, competitive intelligence on an as-needed basis. · Other duties as assigned. · Must react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned. · Regular attendance and punctuality as a full time employee in order to daily exercise all of the essential functions of the position.
In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong project management and organizational skills to traffic multiple projects and business partner needs. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Detail focused with regards to successful marketing program execution. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required. Knowledge of graphic design applications and basic knowledge of HTML is a plus. Familiarity or use of marketing systems: CRM tools and online project workflow management . Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak and present in front of an audience, along with interacting with internal and external clients. Must be able to work in a team environment. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities. Ability to translate and analyze business metrics into concise communications. Self-starter with strong work ethic, enthusiasm and ability to energize others. Must be open to travel (up to 10% per year) and work overtime as needed
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Marketing, or related field preferred; and/or 4 years related experience required. 3 years of demonstrated marketing project coordination required, coordinating one or more of the following: collateral development, event support, advertising, media, direct marketing or market research. Proven experience in integrated marketing. Previous exposure to design, usability and optimization techniques would be a bonus for this position.
