Position Overview & Responsibilities:

We have an immediate opportunity at our global headquarters office in St. Louis for an experienced communications professional with proven experience in B-to-B marketing, digital communications and integrated marketing program development.

This individual will expand the services of the firm’s award-winning communications team that includes expertise in digital communications, B-to-B marketing, corporate counsel, media relations, internal communications, research, and design. He or she also will help to develop and serve clients on a national basis.
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day project management, business development and oversight of integrated communications programs for a variety of clients. He or she will frequently work with account teams from other FH offices and agencies who work in partnership with Fleishman-Hillard.
This individual’s success will be measured by client satisfaction; development of successful, high-impact programs; the ability to work as an effective leader and collaborative team member; and the ability to serve as a creative, thoughtful source of current best practices in all aspects B-to-B communications.
Profile:
* An experienced corporate communications professional engaged in client counseling, new business development and strategic program development.
* A proven communicator with strong and persuasive writing and oral presentation skills.
* Proven leadership skills.
* A good listener, team player and counselor who can build strong relationships with agency clients, account staff, client relationship leaders and other senior managers in the firm.
* Experienced in social networks and follows trends in emerging media.

Responsibilities:
* Translate industry, competitive and consumer trends and insights into impactful client programming.
* Direct the development and provide strategic direction for various client materials: plans, presentations, reports, communications documents.
* Develop and edit high quality written materials, including media correspondence, client presentations, sales materials, etc.
* Develop relationships and coordinate correspondence with external audiences: third party organizations, industry influencers, media and client partners.
* Supervise and train junior account staff, determine workflow and assignments.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships at the senior level and build/recruit strong agency account teams.
* Oversee the client budget development, tracking, billing and communications; proven ability to run accounts profitably.
Qualifications:

* A minimum of 8 years of B2B communications or corporate relations experience. Previous experience in an agency setting is required.
* Skilled communicator with a deep B-to-B foundation of experience in a broad range of corporate communications, including thought leadership, lead generation, media relations, customer service, and issues management.
* Expertise in B-to-B communications in one or more of the following sectors: technology, healthcare, professional services, education, and/or manufacturing.
* Ability to direct research and interpret and apply the results to develop programs and approaches that convey a company’s value and differentiate it from others in the competitive field.
* Ability to synthesize complex integrated marketing communications aimed at segmented audiences across all disciplines—advertising, direct mail, promotion, employee communications, social media, and public relations.
* Proven ability to lead major client engagements, set priorities, and a willingness to take ownership.
* Possess a high level of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm, as well as vision and creative problem-solving skills.
* Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work as a part of a team in the development of programs and presentations.
* Excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills.
* Attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, integrated communications, journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.
