Job Description
Primary responsibilities are to proactively grow participation & membership with existing Select Employee Groups (SEGS). Proactively initiate calls on existing and/or prospective companies to develop and strengthen business relationships, develop nationwide promotions, and increase channels of communication for BCU exposure. Work directly with Business Development Manager to represent SEG HR & Management regarding company-wide issues, needs, problems or complaints.

1. Increase participation of existing companies by working directly with HR and expanding channels of communication.
2. On-location promotional events (on-sites, annual benefit fairs, ATM celebrations, etc.)
3. Develop and oversee Off-site nationwide promotions
4. Develop, coordinate and present Webinars at manager meetings, and lunch/learns.
5. Assist Service Center Managers with local BD efforts.
6. Provide Monthly Tracking & Metrics for department
7. Maintain in-depth product knowledge on BCU products and services
8. Maintain solid internal relationships with all BCU support departments
9. Support cross-selling and promotions relative to all BCU product/service offerings

Job Requirements
• College degree; 2 to 4 years business development experience preferred
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Solution and relationship based sales experience
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and outbound telemarketing skills required
• Experience in financial services (private banking, customer services, sales and lending)
• Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills
• Outside Sales and cold calling experience preferred
• Travel is required: 50% local / 50% out of state; flexible work schedule
• Saturday hours and evening hours are necessary on occasion
• Skilled in Microsoft office environment
