Title: Biometrics Engineer, Senior Location: Virginia-Herndon Key Role: Provide technical services to research and develop Biometric performance requirements for programs for the client aimed to develop an automated fusion capability for future multi-modal biometric systems. Research and analyze existing state-of-the-art technologies for biometric fusion, identify existing performance requirements, perform gap analysis, and research and report on developments in the multi-biometric fusion field. Work with the client and industry stakeholders to develop and refine biometric performance requirements for the operational mission. This position requires some domestic travel and is located in Herndon, VA. Basic Qualifications: -5 years of experience with working in the Biometrics field -5 years of experience with performing or leading scientific or engineering research -3 years of experience in working with government clients -3 years of experience in working with government biometric applications -Ability to obtain a security clearance -MS degree required Additional Qualifications: -Experience with Biometrics R&D, technology assessment, and project management -Experience with systems requirements analysis and development -Experience with developing business and R&D plans -Experience with the USG acquisition and procurement process -MS degree in a related field Clearable: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
