POSITION SUMMARY The Branch Manager is responsible for providing a superior customer experience in the branch while meeting all business objectives. The Branch Manager manages a team of employees to ensure the daily sales, service and operational plans are embedded in the way we do business, while putting our customers at the forefront of all that we do. The Branch Manager should inspire, recognize, and provide a motivational environment through daily coaching.
Position Responsibilities: ? Develop and execute integrated sales, relationship, and credit strategies that are aligned with the Area business plan to achieve desired revenue, expense and service goals. ? Support the portfolio growth in the branch by identifying cross-sell opportunities, deepening relationships and increasing client acquisition, being an active participant as needed. ? Plan, organize and coordinate daily sales, service, and operations management processes, consistent with Step-Up activities. ? Effectively execute all Step-Up! routines to exceed branch goals. ? Create a strong sales and service culture, fostering an environment in which all branch employees and segment partners work together to achieve all scorecard goals. ? Create a warm, welcoming and friendly branch environment. ? Foster teamwork in the branch to ensure a positive employee and overall customer experience. ? Demonstrate positive, can-do attitude and customer first culture. ? Source, develop and close sales and manage relationships for consumer and small business customers. ? Cultivate partnerships with key support groups (Commercial Business, Mortgage, Payroll, etc) to drive sales and ensure that all customer needs are met. ? Lead sales and service activities within the branch by coordinating seminars, micro-marketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc. ? Drive efforts in the branch to identify and implement service behaviors that improve the overall customer experience. ? Monitor and adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets. ? Manage hiring, performance management, compensation, administration, communication and employee evaluations. ? Analyze trends in both local/niche market and customer profiles to identify potential sales opportunities. ? Establish and maintain key relationships and business contacts within the community and targeted industry segments to create opportunities for growth. ? Manage controllable components of P&L expenses/activities for the Branch. ? Fulfill Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ) responsibilities ? Provide, support, feedback and coaching to branch staff daily through morning huddles, and end of day meetings. ? Ensure effective lobby and line management to deliver exceptional customer service. ? Implement programs that recognize, reward and reinforce outstanding employee performance. ? Deploy people resources effectively to deliver a world-class customer experience and to maximize efficiency and productivity ? Resolve escalated customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively. ? Identify and develop high performing employees in order to build career progression and bench strength. ? Own the end to end customer experience in the branch. ? Develop and manage a learning and development plan for all employees. ? Manage staff to budgeted FTE. ? Build a culture of empowerment. Requirements:
