Description:
Establishes and maintains client contacts and develops sales strategy. Strengthens current business ties; coordinates meetings between clients/potential clients and technical or other key individuals.
Keeps abreast of overall business trends, particularly the current business climate. Conducts surveys to determine promising areas of development. Establishes and maintains numerous contacts within and outside the industry. Follows up in a timely manner on all possible leads.
Develops proposals for services in response to invitations to bid, and provides guidance to proposal team from inception to completion. Develops the pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions.
Negotiates contracts, including secrecy agreements and joint venture agreements.
Acts as sponsor for foreign agent representative(s); negotiates and maintains agent agreement.
Acts as sponsor during project execution.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
Qualifications
Graduate in Business Studies and/or engineering
Major UK/USA university
10-15 years work experience
Worked in the ME preferably Abu Dhabi
Worked with consultants preparing proposals
Strong numerical ability
Good spreadsheet and financial model skills
Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Good at networking
Good presentation skills
Strong personality can mix will at Senior level Arabic language would be an advantage
