Would you like to ensure World Class Manufacturing by setting new advanced standards for LEAN implementation in the LEGO Group? And do you have strong people management skills?
We need to take our LEAN implementation to a more advanced level as a result of our recent growth. Your responsibility is to ensure the continued strategic and tactical implementation of LEGO Continues Improvement (LCI)/LEAN in Engineering & Quality (E&Q), by ensuring the development of professional LEAN competencies in all departments within E&Q. You main objective is to drive the local consultant team and local leaders to achieve this.
Organizational fitness and efficiency
You will be part of a global Director team focusing on knowledge sharing and implementing best practices on the production sites. This strong focus is to further support the LEGO Group’s competitiveness in an increasingly global and complex reality. Thus, you challenge status quo through new insights, new ideas and a highly functioning Kaizen program.
Close cooperation with the business to maintain our industry lead position
It is essential that you work closely with the Business Units (BU) in implementing the LEAN tools, designing the process, and changing the behavior and mind set across E&Q. Accordingly, change management is a critical element when coaching the 70 members of the E&Q management team on how to use LEAN proactively when continuously securing the LEGO Group as industry lead within production preparation and molding of the LEGO Elements. Hence, you facilitate collaboration on increasing efficiency and on identifying and eliminating waste. At the same time, you create an environment of Continuous Improvement by making sure employees are working safely and delivering the best quality, on time and at a reasonable price.
You will be part of a LEAN team of 5 members within LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI) placed in E&Q. You will work out of Billund, but due to the nature of the position you must expect to be travelling approximately 20+ per cent of your time.
