Business & Planning Analyst 4\5 SLS Program

Business Planning Analyst to serve as a lead on the Space Launch System (SLS) Program in Strategic Financial Analysis and Funding Management. Develop, prepare and analyze schedule, forecast and budget data with the ability to perform financial analyses. Ability to coordinate, consolidates, analyzes and maintains data coming from the financial information management systems that consolidates all of the financial planning data. Experience in the preparation and presentation of financial and performance data to management and team members. Coordinate Estimate at Complete (EAC) and develop summary charts for projects and program to provide roll-up visibility and presentations to management. Develops, coordinates, and reports program funding, program termination liability, and new business funds to the program and division level management. Makes recommendations on financial performance and projections using extensive financial statement knowledge and experience. Initiates detailed analysis in support of funding and rate allocation methodology, risk assessments and contingency/recovery plans. Leads the development of funding models by defining the parameters. Leads, analyzes and presents business opportunities by assimilating long-range objectives, strategic plans and business cases using appropriate financial indices to maximize profitability and shareholder value. Consults on requirements definition and deployment of common systems, tools, processes and training to improve business planning processes. Works under consultative direction. The successful candidate should have experience with cost policy interfaces for proper new business labor charging practices, Individual Work Authorization (IWA) development across company divisions/locations, and a working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and system tools. Some travel may be required.

Position requires Earned Value Management experience and desires experience with Cost, Schedule, Planning, and Reporting (CSPR) (Cobra/OPP), wInsight and e-CAM Notebook. Position requires the ability to access the Marshall Space Flight Center and other NASA work locations.
