Title: Business Process Analyst Location: Virginia-McLean
Key Role: Develop and document program management approaches for large professional services contracts, including advisory and assistance services, systems engineering and technical analysis, and systems engineering and integration efforts during the capture and proposal phases of the acquisition life-cycle. Provide hands-on consulting and support for the management solution and management proposal volume and section to Booz Allen's most important and critical bids. Develop and document intellectual capital to share firm-wide, including templates, methodologies and processes, tools, guides, and training packages to help internal clients make decisions regarding management approaches in capture and proposal phases of federal procurements, respond to US federal government requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and similar procurement requests, and assist internal teams execute day-to-day program management activities, as awarded. Provide training and guidance and serve as a management consultant to internal client teams on management best practices. Basic Qualifications: -3 years of experience with working in some capacity for a program management office or similar organization as a prime contractor for medium to large federal contracts of $25M-$1B in professional and engineering services, including advisory and assistance services, systems engineering and technical analysis, and systems engineering and integration -2 years of experience with developing proposals in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Part 15 or contracting by negotiation -1 year of experience as a program manager or deputy program manager in a prime contractor role for medium to large federal contracts of $25M-$1B in professional and engineering services, including advisory and assistance services, systems engineering and technical analysis, and systems engineering and integration -Ability to format documents, create and exhibit presentations, build spreadsheets, and track processes using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project and Web applications -Ability to work with a geographically distributed team to achieve results -Ability to work with little oversight, work regularly with senior leadership in the firm, and simultaneously balance multiple projects -Ability to work under tight deadlines typical of US federal proposals, including occasionally working non-traditional hours -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree
