Title: Business Process Analyst Location: WA-Seattle JOB DUTIES: * Works with managers to scope, and plan business process direction and data requirements. * Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis. * Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. * Experience in using process-based management methods, management systems and other metric data diagnostic methodologies required. * Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers to determine data/metric needs. * Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their analytic data and metric plans. * Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational metric requirements. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. * Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and Global Staffing team through which metric requirements flow.
JOB SKILLS: * Computer Skills * Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook. * Candidate must possess an extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel to link data files, build pivots, and develop charts and experience with Microsoft Access to construct reports. * Familiarity or knowledge of Crystal Reports is desirable to respond to requests for data. * Develop and extract staffing data for reporting from the Boeing Enterprise Reporting Tool (BERT). * Knowledge of Microsoft Project highly desirable. * Knowledge of e-mail/scheduling software applications. Typical Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
