Brief Description of the Organization

Citi Personal Banking & Wealth Management (CPBWM) provides financial planning and wealth management services via our Citibank branch-based advisors and centralized service centers, and has oversight for the Retail Bank product management and risk functions.

Description To support this strategy, CPBWM is seeking a qualified program management professional to join the full time Business Program Management Office (BPMO). The BPMO is positioned as an enabler of strategic direction and growth; Program Managers each have responsibility for a dynamic and challenging slate of projects, supporting the approved initiatives sponsored by the CPBWM Leadership team. The Program Manager will report directly to the Director of BPMO. Key Responsibilities: - Assume responsibility for diverse portfolio of projects in the Personal Banking and Wealth Management Business PMO - Projects range from software rollout to coordination of new product rollout, marketing campaigns and implementation of new business processes / process reengineering - Each PM is expected to lead each project from the front - a driving force to execute effectively and efficiently against business strategies, "end to end" and "front to back" across the touchpoints and constituencies - This role will be responsible for overall project controls; cost, time, quality, risk and documentation - The program manager must be able to present at the steering committee level and to facilitate project meetings; deliver status reporting; present at phase gate reviews; deliver WBS; plan organizational readiness; support risk and audit reviews; lead kickoffs and postmortems - Additional responsibilities include custodianship of project financials, artifacts and approvals - Project status reports will be generated weekly providing updates; highlighting achievements, dependencies, constraints, risks and issues - The program manager will coordinate across work-streams, track critical path, calculate slack at the task level and maintain & publish a consolidated plan using MS Project - These functions will be accomplished by coordinating other program managers, including partnering with technology PMO personnel, and work-package lifications Skills/Experience - Min 8 years of experience in the finance industry - Experience driving multi-million dollar highly complex and diverse initiatives, eg CRM, account opening, operational efficiencies, investment engines, banking or brokerage product rollout, involving significant change and user adoption. - Min 5 years experience working with a structured Program Management methodology - Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures - Proficiency expected with MS Project - Strong PC skills: Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook - Ability to build relationships quickly across all levels in a matrixed environment - Superior facilitation and presentation skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational , process, and execution skills - Effective managing matrixed and third party resources - Solid work ethic and professional - Critical thinker who see implications, conceives of solutions and obtains broad based buy-in - Bachelor degree or equivalent experience PMP or equivalent certification preferred
