JOB DESCRIPTION COLSA Corporation is seeking personnel in support of a proposal effort for the CONUS Theater Network Operations & Security Center (C-TNOSC) contract at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The managed system engineer performs duties such as site surveys, architecture design, systems evaluation, systems analysis and infrastructure assessment. This candidate shall perform duties on tasks that require expertise in system/processor architecture, wired for management baseline, desktop management interface, client/server architecture, operating systems, software applications, network protocols, routers, switches, remote access servers and firewalls. This position is contingent upon funding - current incumbents are encouraged to apply. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related technical discipline. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum of 8 years work related experience in progressively complex systems design, including hardware/software integration of complex systems. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet and databases. Working knowledge of current operating systems and programming languages. CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certifications preferred. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet requirements for access to classified information.
