Position Description:

CGI Federal, a wholly owned sibsidiary of CGI, has an opening in Cleveland, OH for an experienced Call Center Representative. CGI Federal is a leader in providing clinical auditing services to commercial and public healthcare insurance payers throughout the US with the goal of indentifying and recovering inproper payments, Accordingly, the Call Center Representative will answer healthcare provider inquiries into claims status, payment options, status of any outstanding receivables or offsets, and all other recovery related requests. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Manage all provider contact in a highly professional and sensitive manner
- Receive inbound and make outbound calls, addressing all provider queries
- Use available systems to research adjustments, medical record submissions, website inquiries, and
provider concerns as directed by the Team Manager
- Communicate with providers to provide claims status, appropriate appeal information, and
recoupment information
- Maintain detailed customer notes in an electronic tracking system, documenting every contact with
a provider and reporting potential issue to the Team Manager

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a majority of the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years customer support experience in the healthcare industry
- Superior customer service skills with a focus on problem solving and professional relationship
building
- Solid background in Medicaid appeals, recoupment policies and processes
- Clear speaking voice and excellent diction
- Ability to work independently and complete time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to make decisions, and maintain orderly and neat customer and departmental files
- Must be computer literate and have the ability to quickly learn new applications

In addition, applicants must be able to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrate proficiency with MS Office programs and possess excellent problem solving skills. An undergraduate degree in accounting or business is preferred, but not required; A high school degree/GED is required.
